Ketwol was a male Pacithhip asteroid miner and prospector, who traveled around the galaxy aboard his battered freighter, the Herd Mother.Like all members of his species, Ketwol's legs were very short, so short that he opted to employ a pair of mechanical stilts that raised his height to that of most humanoids.Ketwol was generally pleasant but kept to himself. He was peaceful but deadly accurate with a small dart pistol hidden in his robes. Even without his weapons, Ketwol was considered dangerous among the shady characters he dealt with. He could use his sharp tusks to inflict damage, and his thick skin protected him from most stun weapons. Ketwol could make a living as a professional fighter if he chose to.Among his possessions was an Ion Blaster, which a Jawa trader gave to Ketwol in exchange for a small amount of valuable, unrefined ore. Another of Ketwol's possessions was a Twi'lek dagger, which Ketwol claimed after finding it taped to the bottom of a table in Mos Eisley cantina. He suspected it might have been left by an assassin.An enemy of the Galactic Empire, Ketwol supplied the Rebel Alliance with materials and information. During the day that the Empire invaded Mos Eisley, he forced a squad of sandtroopers marching towards the rebel Anchorhead Base led by the Imperial spy Garindan into retreat.During an asteroid mining operation in the Imperial space, a lone TIE Fighter was sent into the belt to find any hiding rebels. By detonating a minefield, he destroyed the attacker.Ketwol stopped into the Mos Eisley Cantina for a drink the day that Luke Skywalker first met Han Solo.
